Sunset Soiree

Manhattan wedding planners like myself are always looking for new luxury wedding venues that are totally unique. When the owners of Lambs Hill in Westchester contacted us, I couldn’t wait to see everything in person.

After a drive out of the city and into upstate New York, I was led up a long driveway. Once I reached the top, the grounds unfolded before me and to say the view was outstanding is an understatement.

Even in Winter I could see the potential this place had to be one of the luxury wedding venues in the US. To help advertise the location to engaged couples, we decided to set up a styled shoot for June of the same year.

Lambs Hill had animals on site, a barn, and a gorgeous outdoor space for both the ceremony and reception. My favorite spot though, is the infinity pool that overlooks the mountains in the area. Part of the plan for the styled shoot was to incorporate the breathtaking view for a sunset soiree.

The design would pull together pale pink and pale blue with a few deeper pops of color. We brought in plenty of vintage furniture rental pieces to set up on the grounds. EA Bridals provided various sophisticated wedding dresses that had intricate beading and beautiful back details.

As the day began to wind down, the sun was beginning to fall lower to the mountains. Since Lambs Hill is the highest location in the area though, our golden hour was really extended. The glamorous wedding decorations and romantic wedding theme came together to showcase a new venue and a luxury wedding reception!
