It’s another real wedding feature and this time it’s pretty in pink at Park Chateau! If you’re not new here, you know just how much I adore planning at this venue because they truly go above and beyond and have everything you need for that luxury wedding experience.

For this wedding, Katie and Matt wanted upscale fun, good music, and everything to be pretty in pink. We were planning for several months when I got a phone call asking if they would be interested in being part of the hit TV show, Impractical Jokers.

I totally did not think they were going to go for it…but they did.

Without further delay, check out this romantic wedding that packed not just a ton of fun but plenty of laughter as well.

Katie and Matt started their day getting ready on site at Park Chateau, which boasts incredible suites to handle everything from getting dressed to hair and make-up.

With Katie, she started early in her suite with all of her ladies getting glammed up and taking plenty of photos.

Of course, we started the day with beautiful detail photos from the rings, to the invitations, to the lace details on the veil. As the ladies were wrapping up their hair and make-up, Matt and his groomsmen came over and headed to his suite so they could also get ready for the big day.

All the while, by the way, the crew from Impractical Jokers was setting up for later….keep reading.

Katie was an absolute vision in her custom wedding gown that was dripping with the most beautiful lace details. She truly looked like a princess out of a fairytale book.

One of my favorite moments on a wedding day is the first look…and the first look is not just reserved for the couple seeing each other. With Katie’s dad on the other side of the door, we tucked away the moms and the bridesmaids and set Katie up in her suite.

Needless to say, her dad was pretty choked up and it was a beautiful moment.

Once the first looks were done, our photographer took Katie and Matt to the iconic entrance of Park Chateau for one of his signature photos. I love working with couples who are ready to do anything for some memorable wedding photos because LOOK AT THAT! Honestly, it feels like a romantic album cover to me and I want to listen to every single track.

One of the best things about Park Chataeu, and something I tell my couples to look for when searching for a wedding venue, is just how much beautiful outdoor space exists. You truly do not have enough time to take pictures in every single location at this venue and that is a very very good thing. The options are endless and the results are flawless.

Once all of the formality pictures were completed, guests began to arrive to the chateau and headed to the chapel for the wedding ceremony. We created a garden style vibe with plenty of pink and white flowers and lush greenery. The aisle was flanked with beautiful arrangements and Katie and Matt stood under a floral arch as they said their vows to one another.

After the ceremony ended, guests were whisked off to the cocktail hour while the wedding party stood outside the chapel for the bubble exit. Personally, I love how bubbles look in these photos (especially on such a sunny day like theirs was) and it’s such a fun way to add a touch of whimsy to the wedding day.

Gathering our bride and groom and their wedding party, it was time for some more iconic photos. The staircase is a focal point at Park Chateau and it is just another amazing location for pictures. Katie, Matt, and their wedding party totally understood the assignment!

Meanwhile, during cocktail hour, the ballroom was being set up for the wedding reception.

Wedding Planner Tip: Always extend your cocktail hour to 90 minutes whenever possible…this will allow your florist plenty of time to re-purpose and set up, while also giving you time to enjoy your cocktail hour.

What’s a wedding reception without plenty of candles? We brought in a candle vendor (yes, that is a thing) to make the room look truly magical. Everywhere you looked there was nothing but candlelight and the romance vibe was next level.

Meanwhile, yes, this happened.

Don’t worry! It was all part of the ultimate prank designed by the team of Impractical Jokers. For starters, Murray (very much in disguise) went around during cocktail hour “interviewing” guests for the wedding video. This all led up to gathering many of the guests for a group photo which was all part of the plan to get everyone in the room for the cake to be knocked over.

If you didn’t see the episode, check it out on your streaming service provider!

As you can see, the prank was very well received and adored by everyone. Me? Well, I was off in the corner nervous most of the time when I wasn’t getting yelled at before everyone realized it was just the jokers.

After the prank ended, Katie and Matt, and all of their guests were ready to head into the ballroom for the wedding reception. The energy was high and the dance floor never emptied.

During the reception and after dinner and dancing were well underway, we brought our newlyweds outside for a few more beautiful pictures. Because, as I mentioned before, the grounds at Park Chateau are endless and there’s no shortage of locations for photos.

Wishing Katie and Matt a lifetime of love and of course, laughter. It was such a pleasure planning this beautiful day!
