Another real wedding at Park Chateau is up on the blog today! Not only is Park Chateau one of my absolute favorite wedding venues to work at anywhere, but it’s even better when the couple is amazing and the vendor team is full of rockstars!
I started wedding planning with Annalisa and Casey almost two full years prior to their official wedding date. This gave us plenty of time to secure the most talented vendors in New Jersey and to take our time with all of the details.
As a wedding planner, I always recommend giving yourself at least a year to plan a wedding, but summer weddings are popular, especially a June wedding. Thankfully, a combination of plenty of time plus a super fun couple to work with made everything easy peasy!
Read on to see all of the gorgeous details that came together for this spectacular real wedding at Park Chateau Estate & Gardens…
When I first met with Annalisa and Casey, we were starting from scratch…which is my favorite way to work with newly engaged couples. Not even a venue had been selected and this makes my job oh so much easier!
They were looking for a venue that had it all which included hosting their ceremony on site and also getting ready there. Food was definitely a priority and the place had to be a showstopper.
After touring a few different wedding venues, they signed a contract with Park Chateau Estate & Gardens and we were officially confirmed for June 1, 2024!
This beautiful wedding day was complete with a wedding trend that I would love to see actually trending…no wedding party! That’s right! And what that meant was plenty of time to get ready, not having to worry about everyone being on time, and just a generally more relaxed day.
I promise you, if you’re considering just having your friends and family as guests and forgoing the wedding party, you will not regret it!
The day started off in the gorgeous bridal suite at Park Chateau where Annalisa and her mom got their hair and make-up done. While that preparation continued, our photographer, Jeff Tisman, set up all of the details for some truly gorgeous photos.
Wedding Planner Tip: Always put together a list of all the details you want to have photographed and make sure your photographer has that in advance of the wedding day. Then, on the best day ever, gather all of those details in one spot so your photographer can grab everything they need with ease!
After all of the beautiful details had been captured, it was time to start doing those bridal portraits. The suite at Park Chateau is already super spacious, but not having a wedding party made it that much easier to move around.
The suite was also the site of one of the most beautiful first looks between a father and daughter that I’ve ever seen. Annalisa’s dad arrived to see his daughter all dressed in white and ready to marry the man of her dreams…the happy tears were abundant to say the least!
Also getting ready at Park Chateau was our groom, Casey, who wore a custom made suit that was designed down to the last detail absolutely perfectly.
I love when our grooms elect to go the custom route because that means they get to create something that they’ll love and be able to wear again and again!
Once everyone was ready and all the tears had been dried from the Father-Daughter first look, it was time for the groom to see his beautiful bride. Getting married in early June, Annalisa and Casey had a spectacularly beautiful day and the grounds of Park Chateau offer plenty of places for the official first look.
Annalisa and Casey’s wedding was like a magical garden fairytale. The florals were perfect for a June wedding and the mix of white and pink against the bright green leaves was stunning. Of course, there were no shortage of candles everywhere you looked including along the famous staircase at Park Chateau.
Once all of the couple portraits were done, we got ready to head into the chapel for the ceremony. Guests filed in to find their seats and we walked with our bride to the chapel doors where she waited with her parents to walk down the aisle.
After the beautiful ceremony, our couple embraced in their first official married kiss and then headed back to the estate. Annalisa and Corey enjoyed some cocktail hour food in private and our bride opted to switch her hair into a fun pony for the rest of the night!
Inside the Park Chateau ballroom, there were gorgeous centerpieces at each table that gave the ultimate summer wedding vibes. The romantic colors came together so beautifully and as the sun went down, the candles gave off the perfect glow to the room.
With an incredible band leading the reception, the dance floor was packed all night! Honestly, as a wedding planner of 14 years, I truly believe that a packed dance floor indicates a successful wedding.
Wedding Planner Tip: Let your music vendor take the lead during the reception and allow them to play what keeps people on the dance floor instead of restricting them to a specific playlist.
Their wedding cake had a soft blush color all over and was covered in tiny pearls and beautiful sugar flowers. Of course, no cake this beautiful should be showcased on a bland boring linen! A specialty tablecloth rental was brought in to give this wedding cake the stage she deserved!
Luckily, Annalisa and Casey are an awesome couple and they were totally down to take photos during golden hour. That sunset was absolutely perfect and resulted in even more incredible photos!
Not only did Annalisa change her hair into a fun ponytail, but later on during the wedding reception she flipped into a super cute short white dress with the best bow ever on the back! Check out that shoe change too!
This couple loved to have fun and our photographer is all about that fun energy. I love this black and white photo from a series of photos of them on the iconic staircase at Park Chateau.
Speaking of “iconic”……
Jeff had this champagne shot planned months in advance and yes, he even brought his own because he’s done the test to see what sprays the best. These two were so much fun outside at the end of the night popping champagne to celebrate their marriage!
Annalisa and Casey’s wedding was truly epic and honestly, they were such a fun couple to plan with! I am so glad I got the chance to really get to know them over the course of two years.
