This real wedding was all white elegance at the gorgeous Park Chateau Estate & Gardens and when I tell you the flowers were TO DIE FOR…Truthfully, there were so many creative and unique details with this wedding and it truly was a really fun one to plan.

If you’re not new here, you know I adore Park Chateau and love planning weddings there. One of the great things about the venue is how clean the space is, which allows you to do pretty much whatever you want.

Well, Melanie and Anthony wanted to have a big bash (think 300 people) on a Tuesday and the truly made this day a reflection of who they are as individuals and as a couple. Here is one to remember…

When I first spoke with Melanie I could tell she knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day to Anthony. They had already been together forever and this just seemed like the perfect celebration for such a strong love.

Their priorities? Fun, elegance, more fun, glamour, and plenty of fashion.

Melanie and Anthony got married in July on a very hot day on a Tuesday…yes, a TUESDAY. I love telling people this because more and more I am seeing couples ask if it’s “acceptable” to have a weekday wedding. So many couples worry that their attendance will be low but I have to tell you, as someone who has done weddings almost every day of the week…

Your guests will show up.

Anyway…back to this incredible wedding.

One of the great things about Park Chateau are the gorgeous grounds. The walk from the estate to the chapel where the ceremony had plenty of room for this unique photo display.

Since Melanie and Anthony had been together for so long, they were able to showcase the cutest photos of them together through the years. Guests were treated to this museum of love on their walk to the chapel while a saxophone played in the background.

The all-white chapel was the perfect setting for the all-white elegance of the florals. Literally mountains of rose petals lined the aisles making the entire room smell like a spring garden.

At the front, a gorgeous set-up designed by our florist reached more than halfway up the back windows and created the perfect frame for our couple.

And yes, we re-purposed those flowers because of course!

Wedding Planner Tip: Extend your cocktail hour to 90 minutes which will allow your guests to enjoy everything while giving your florist plenty of time to move and shift things into place for the reception.

Starting earlier in the day, our dance floor vendor was hard at work wrapping everything to perfection. I love a good custom dance floor like this one. It’s such an impactful detail that truly ties the entire room together.

What’s great about wrapping a dance floor is how creative you can be with it. I love working with this company because they truly can do anything.

Anytime a couple wants to get creative with their reception tables, I am all in. Gone are the days of all round tables that look exactly the same. For this wedding, we created a border around the dance floor with super long tables and complimenting centerpieces.

Since candles were also a big factor in the wedding design, it was important to create that glow in a way that worked on each differently styled table. For the longer tables, our florist used tapers, floating and hanging candles.

Of course, low centerpieces always have their place at a wedding reception. Changing the heights of the centerpieces really adds dimension to the room.

An important factor that we see many couples ignore is lighting. Lighting is the key to really make the entire room shine. Nothing is worse than a dark room that, when your guests enter, they can’t even see the gorgeous florals you spent so much money on.

Not to mention, if the room isn’t properly lit, it could reflect poorly in your photos.

Park Chateau has a great in-house lighting package and coupled with the outside lighting elements brought it, the whole entire look of the room instantly was elevated.

Remember how I said we repurposed those stunning tall arches from the ceremony? Well, during the 90 minute long cocktail hour, our florists broke everything down from the chapel and brought it over to the ballroom.

Sweetheart tables are such a focal point not just during the wedding day itself, but in pictures. It’s important to create a frame that is not only beautiful but one that enhances the space even more just like this one.

For this wedding, there were long tables with tall centerpieces from end to end, round tables with low centerpieces, and other round tables with super high all white centerpieces.

The whole vibe was clean and elegant…and yes, very glamourous.

On her…third…I think third (but not final) dress change, Melanie entered the beautiful reception space with her new husband, Anthony. Melanie owns a fantastic dress store in New Jersey so fashion was always a high priority and the girl DELIVERED!

Surrounded by friends and family…roughly 300 of them…the couple kicked off the reception with a beautiful first dance.

Beyond being the perfect day, Melanie and Anthony spent almost the entire night on the dance floor with the best guests ever…the best because they all were dancing and having the time of their lives and that’s exactly what you want in a wedding guest!

Congratulations to this amazing couple!
